About us
A Saipan nonprofit keeping music education alive for youth and communities across the CNMI, with Chamorro and Carolinian song at its heart.
01About
Save The Music-CNMI Foundation is based in Chalan Kanoa, Saipan. Our mission is revitalizing, supporting and sustaining music education for youth and communities across the CNMI.
Our public stage is Voices of The Marianas, the first iconic and premier musical platform for performers to demonstrate their musical talent in the CNMI.
Music is also how a language survives. That's why our classes teach Chamorro and Carolinian songs alongside chords and strumming, and why our motto is Save The Music, Save Our Language.

After Super Typhoon Sinlaku
Super Typhoon Sinlaku disrupted our island and our class schedules. In May 2026 we relaunched Rhythm to Success, our flagship youth program, and our students came back ready to play.
The storm may have disrupted our schedules, but it hasn't changed our tune.

03Teachers
Our Junior Instructors are advanced students trained to teach. Youth teaching youth.
We've performed with sign-language interpreters so more of our community can share the music. This website follows the same idea: captions on video, alt text on photos, readable contrast and full keyboard navigation.
